The Luna Moth is a gorgeous example of how elegant these creatures can be. Moths have a bad rap as being a scary butterfly, but it is undeserved - and I promise these insects won't eat the clothes in your closet. This moth embraces muted colours and the pattern is inspired by antique lace patterns. *** Please note this is a DIGITAL FILE ONLY - no physical item will be shipped.**

This pattern is designed for beginners with 15 common stitches to create your own monochrome moth. Stitches range from beginner (ie. straight, leaf, and satin) to more complex stitches such as the buttonhole wheel. This pattern includes a 12-page stitch guide and a 13-page instruction manual with tips, backing instructions, and material recommendations.

This pattern is designed for a 6 inch hoop but can be resized to fit any size, although the smaller it gets, the trickier it is. The colours suggested in the instructions are just that - suggestions! Feel free to substitute with what you have.

Please note: You will need a PDF reader to access this file on your computer. If you do not have one, you can get a free PDF reader here: http://get.adobe.com/reader/

When printing the pattern, ensure your printer is set to print to "Actual Size".

This pattern is also available as a kit here!
